  • I'm interested in a session. What happens next?
So, you're interested in booking a session or would like some more information? Great! Head on over to my 'Contact Me' page and let me know when would be good for me to call you. It's as easy as that! I'll get in touch and schedule a consultation when I'll answer any questions that you may have. During the consultation I'll ask a million questions of my own about you and your dog. What does your dog like and dislike? What do you love most about them? What sort of images would you like capturing? What would you like to do with them? When you are ready to book your session I'll send you a welcome pack including a contract, product guide and an invoice for my retainer fee to book your slot and reveal session. On the day of your dogs session we'll work at your dog's own pace, ensuring their comfort and happiness throughout. Breaks can be taken at any time - infact, they are encouraged! Your Reveal Session will have been scheduled at the time of booking, for about 2 weeks following your session This will be your first opportunity to view your images, which will have been fully retouched. They will initially be presented as a slide show - I'll have the tissues ready! We'll then go through the images individually for you to select your favourites and to choose how you would like them to be displayed in your home. Samples of the products I offer will be available for you to view at your Reveal Session.
  • Do you only photograph dogs? If so, why?"
Yes, I only photograph dogs, either with or without their owners. This is because they are my passion and I love working with them.
  • My dog won't sit still - is there any point in us having a photo session?
Absolutely! You'll be amazed at the images we are able to capture of even the naughtiest of hounds. In addition, most of the images in my gallery were taken with the dog on lead as their safety is always my number one priority.
  • My dog is very nervous of new people and situations - will you be able to do a photo session for us?
I always work at the dog's own pace, spending time getting to know them before the session and letting them get used to the environment. I have diplomas in Canine Behaviour and Canine Communication and do my utmost to keep the dogs calm, safe and happy at all times. Your dog's welfare is of paramount importance and if it is clear that they are not going to cooperate on the day then I will end the session and reschedule at no extra charge.
  • Can I bring more than one dog to a photo session?
No problem. The cost of the session includes up to two dogs from the same household. Please contact me if you have more.
  • Can I bring my family with me to the photo session?
To help the dog remain calm and focussed during the seesion I ask that only those necessary to the session attend.
  • Where is your studio?
The location for photo sessions is at our property in North Nottinghamshire, within easy reach of Newark, Lincoln, Worksop and Retford. We are easily accesible from the A1. My studio is currently in a temporary space at our property while very exciting conversion work of the dedicated studio space is ongoing.
  • Will you travel to our home to photograph our dog?
Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
  • How many pictures will be in my gallery?
Every session is different, but usually 25-40 images are edited and available for you to choose from.
  • Can I get the digital files?
I firmly believe that your favourite images should be printed and displayed around your home rather than languishing on a USB stick in the bottom of a drawer, so I have curated an exciting range of products from some of the top professional print labs for you to choose from. I also understand the appeal of digital files, therefore social media sized files of all prints ordered will be included on a USB for you to share with family and friends. Full resolution files of your gallery are also available to purchase either individually or at a significant discount if you would like the full gallery of images.
